AUL=Activity and Use Limiatation - Due to Non-Compliance Issues with DEP, the AUL was retracted May 2018.

April 1, 2019Steve Vetere from Mabbett and Associates has resigned as the LSP of Record for the Buckley and Mann site. All response actions have ceased at this time. The purchase and sale expired on 3/29/19. Negotiations continued but no new agreement for the sale of the mill site was reached. The environmental test results from Mabbett were requested by the PIP.
April 9, 2019 Response to PIP request for Status Update from the Mann family lawyer which only summarizes events that were public information. The test results are important and may contain pertinent information. We continue to ask for a complete transparency and the disclosure of ALL ENVIRONMENTAL TEST RESULTS to make public what was found at the site before any further actions by the ZBA on the housing development. Drone photos taken April 24, 2018 (for Friends of Lawrence Street) indicate locations and show discolored waters which were not tested yet. These are locations of interest on this site included for reference. A complete evaluation to determine the horizontal and vertical extent of contamination is pending.
11/30/18 Mabbett filed this image with the DEP as the new “Disposal Site Boundary” however, the drawing does not include all of the piles of materials from the road/bridge project and it omits the foundation areas, which have been identified for further investigation by Weston and Sampson and in public comments.
