The Phase II Scope of Work defines 3 locations in the river to include the sediment and surface water samples (6 tests total). These tests should include the orange plume going into the river in multiple inlets. Everyone should encourage those who are responsible to complete the testing and define the nature and extent of contamination for the health and safety of residents, including those downstream.

Above: February 2019 Drone Image:The Buckley and Mann site foundation area was used by the Town's contractor for the Lawrence Street improvements project since the project began in September 2018 until May 2019. Drone images 2/3/19 show materials staged and construction activity. These foundations and nearby soils will be tested as part of the Phase II Scope of Work. Residents opposed the use of this site and in November of 2018, the DEP responded that the use of site was allowed until the testing showed contaminants above reportable concentrations. In April 2019 testing was halted due to expiration of Purchase and Sale. Further details can be found in the DEP document here: eeaonline.eea.state.ma.us/EEA/fileviewer/Default.aspx?formdataid=0&documentid=475797
One of the concerns raised by PIP Petitioners was the condition of the waters of Bush Pond. This image taken 2/3/19 shows holes in the ice. These turned out to be of unknown origin as they were not part of environmental testing. Ice fishing is possible source. A request was made on 2/25/19 for a Status Update PIP Meeting and again on 3/18/19 with 26 signatures to present all of Mabbett's test results to date. The results of Mabbett's tests were Requested by the DEP to be made public by May 10, 2019. The Lawyer for Buckley and Mann declined to make test results available to the PIP in April. Results were posted 5/14/19 on DEP website.
Lawrence Street and Bridge Project 2/3/19 shows the status of the site. All banks on the South side (on the Right) will need to be replanted by May 31, 2019.
